codak smile
Via mindhacks I found a way to the kingdom of qualia Dresden Codak, following which I developed a serious case of codak smile. It’s viral, so I pass it on (horizontal meme transfer, as it were). Two of my favs below, but do explore the luminiferous aether.

Dungeons & Discourse rules. 😀 Still +20 charsima for the apologist in the church is way too much, if he has paladin-like abilities (charisma added to armor class) it should make him virtually untouchable. Apart from the positivist, I liked the dark kantian, I think he’s a sort of blackguard for philosophers. 🙂

Actually, charisma doesn’t seem to add to his armor class, but to his attack roll (i.e., the profficiency in „rhetorical hammers”)… this doesn’t seem paladin-like… maybe sorcerer-like?

Hm… I don’t think sorcerers are are proficient in hammers. He may be a cleric, after all that’s the way he looks. 🙂 But in this case, charisma serves only to diplomacy checks. Eventually, he may be a favored soul (that is, some sort of combiantion between cleric and sorcerer who gains proficiency in his deity’s weapon). But what deity favors rhetorical hammers?

‘Cleric’ was my first thought as well, when I saw the apologist, but then the charisma should add to diplomacy, as you say; but it doesn’t, so he’s not. Favored soul might indeed be the answer (I just checked on the Wizards of the Coast page).
All of ‘em? :p
